    The Netflix Instant Viewing Thread

I figured we could use a thread for recommendations for films and TV shows that are available that you think people should know about (even if it sucks and its just something to laugh at)

    Worth Watching: Big Man Japan

In this hilarious mockumentary, middle-aged Daisato (Hitoshi Matsumoto) -- a second-rate, third-generation superhero -- annoys his neighbors with the noise and destruction he causes on the job. But a heroic public image is the least of his concerns. Besides defending Japan from bizarre monsters, he must deal with an agent seeking to brand him with ads, a superhero grandfather with Alzheimer's and a family embarrassed by his incompetence.
Worth Watching To Make Fun Of Because At Least You Only Lose Time: Far Cry

When Seattle reporter Valerie Cardinal (Emmanuelle Vaugier) hires troubled ex-commando Jack Carver (Til Schweiger) to guide her to a remote Pacific island, she soon falls prey to mercenaries sworn to protect the island's dark military secret. Now Carver must save Cardinal and confront the sinister Dr. Krieger (Udo Kier), whose biological experiments have gone wildly awry. Uwe Boll directs this action-thriller based on the popular video game.

Re: The Netflix Instant Viewing Thread

I have 173 movies and shows on my Netflix Instant Queue.

Lots of old favorites for when family/friends stop by, and its much easier to access (and cheaper) than having DVDs.

Shows I am currently watching for the first time: DEXTER, CRASH, MAN V. FOOD
Shows I've never seen on queue: DOCTOR WHO, WEEDS, LOST
Recently watched: Robin Williams' WORLD'S GREATEST DAD

I watched Tobin's TYSON documentary the other day. Very entertaining.

Agree 100%. After hearing so many jokes about the man, it was great to see him speak for himself

With the recent passing of Edward Woodward, I streamed "Breaker Morant" on the 360. It was HD and looked pretty darn good. Great, great movie.

    240. Takes forever to scroll through.

Here at the hostel, we're in the midst of an 8 hour a day LOST marathon, thanks to the instant view.

A few recent recommendations: The Baader Meinhof Complex, Man on Wire, and London To Brighton.

    Biggest complaint: Oldboy dubbed. Really?!!!

Best Movie I've seen on there.

    Enter the Ninja (1981)
Fresh off the completion of his ninjitsu training in Japan, American Army vet Cole (Franco Nero) finds himself in the center of vicious property battle when he discovers his pal Frank (Alex Courtney) is being strong-armed by cutthroat land baron Charles Venarius (Christopher George). When Venarius employs the services of fellow ninja Hasegawa (Shô Kosugi), Cole's forced to put his training, and his life, on the line.
The Jack Benny Collection is funny and uncomfortably non-PC.

Follow That Bird for old times sake. Same with Muppets in NY/Space.

Recently watched Oldboy and Audition for the first time.
"If a baby were President, there would be no taxes. There would be no war. There would be no...government, and...things could get terrible. And actually probably it would be a better screenplay idea then a serious suggestion."
