Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Has anyone heard of this? Anyone? This has a street date of March 2010 and I'm looking at as a possible replacement for MW2.

First one was pretty fun. This looks like more of the same. I don't think it's enough to take me away from MW2 though it'll be good to break things up once in awhile.

I'm not a fan of the 4-man squad thing, though. Don't know if they addressed this in the new one. But it was very annoying only being able to communicate with 1/3 of your team.

The gameplay footage looks great. I loved 1942 and 1943 was pretty good. CoD games are ok but I prefer having a vehicle option. I may pick this up.

This is slightly different gameplay-wise from the regular Battlefield games. It's still fun, but it's it's own beast.

I like BC as an alternative to MW when I'm in the mood for some vehicle fun. I think that they are equally as much fun.

I must say I'm disappointed in the single player trailer that just came out. The thing that made the first game so great and set it apart from other similar games was the humor. There's none of that in the trailer. Very disheartening.

agreed. this looks like an expansion map for COD: MW.

Demo is finally out on the 360. And I must say, I'm even more disappointed after playing it. Other than the squad thing I rather enjoyed the first one and played it online for quite awhile. This, kind of sucks. Ok, it's a demo and not the final product but the final product isn't far off and the graphics are kind of shitty, the environment is all just one color, the explosions and destruction are nice but it's kind of retarded when the battlefield turns into one big open space because everything blows up in seconds, squad/team communication is as bad as it ever was... ugh, did not like this at all. There's new vehicles but the controls were awful and harder to control than last time on the few I was able to drive and outside of a vehicle it feels like you are running and aiming in a bowl of jello.

At this point, I doubt I will be picking this up any longer. Maybe if it's on sale.
