    Mack in LA

No, I wasn't there, but a good friend of mine told me that she got to meet you at WWLA, David. Funny, because she and I have never met face to face, but the wonders of cyberspace have made us very close. And to think that we met over the posting of my David Mack Memorial Daredevil Quilt. (The DMMDDQ, for short ) See? Ripple effect. Once again.

She told me she is reading Kabuki now, and wonders why it took her so long. I hope she got a chance to get the prints she wanted; I forgot to ask her that.

Oh! Another question! I recently picked up a set of the French DD hardcovers, one being Cachemar, and I was wondering...did you do an overlay of all the French words onto your art, because if someone else stripped that in there, they are master forgers. It all flows beautifully with the art. Damn, that's my favourite arc, ever. Still brings me to tears.

    Shutting up now.

Yeah I met her, and she talked about you and really appreciates you.
    She was very nice.
Pretty cool how that works! She said you were very inspiration to her.

The French translations of my work are really cool. Especially the Kabuki stuff which is even more clever for them to translate. And they did reproduce my type styles all by themselves and very effectively and cleverly.

There are French Hardcover collections to all the Kabuki books except Scarab.
And the German translations are amazing like that too.
Very cool to see Akemi's handwriting in the other languages.
