Normally, I may agree. But in this case it's the "other" workers who are going to be affected. Namely the working class (and even white collar) people who rely on public transportation to get to work and to get their kids to school. People like myself will also see increased taxes and fare hikes to pay for whatever deal is made as a result. We already pay the most in the country and they want more? Seems foolish to say this is going to benefit anyone other than those TWU workers and them alone.

These guys can go to hell. Rendell threatened em last week about not striking during the World Series. He's not going to let em off the hook now either.

The job of unions is to protect the interests of their membership. How many unions have accepted pay and benefit cuts for their members only to watch CEOs and stockholders rake in huge profits? Fuck that. It has to start somewhere.
