Didn't take my name for the Demoman comic, did you? My last name is de Groot, and while it's fairly common here in the Netherlands, it definitely isn't in Scotland. Someone made the suggestion of it sounding vaguely European/African and maybe the guys at Valve might've picked it up. Either way, I laughed so loud when I saw that name.
