PG-13 horror films

The local theater is looking to do a couple of free movies for Halloween, one for the families and one for the older kids/adults. In order to make it so that the teens can go, the gal that arranges the films is looking for something PG-13. She's also looking for something fairly new.

I recommended Drag Me To Hell, but I was curious if there are any others that aren't terrible. I'm trying to prevent her from ending up with Prom Night or something equally awful.

Yeah, a lot of the J-horror remakes don't have a lot of gore and are PG-13.

It's about ten years old, but you know what would go over pretty well? The Haunting. One of the biggest budget horror movies ever. It's a terrible movie, but very entertaining FX.

The Ring is one of my top five horror movies of all time (the American version). The original japanese one is also great, but I found to be far more terrified after seeing the American version.

This was the first movie I thought of as well.

Also, Monster House is a great family flick that actually satisfies as a horror movie. It's basically Goonies in a haunted house.
