Promoting a local comic-con (Press releases, getting the news on websites, etc).

So, I've offered my help to a local comic book convention about getting the word out for it.

Which websites should I send the press release out to? Suggestions?

Oh, and I'll post it here on Monday morning, once everything is settled.

Ha. Someone's already taking care of the social network aspect, and it's not me.

Right now, I'm just trying to get together a list of the semi-traditional comics media, and their contact info.

Can't say enough about the Local Comic Shops, book stores, toy stores, etc. Give out tickets..but only singles..that way the person will bring a paying customer...

    I'll second what Mordru said.
