I did love hearing the pure hate in voice when talking about the people that said he was stealing form Lost and Vonnegut, it just brought a smile to my face.
On this edition of the Word Balloon Podcast, we begin a two part talk with writer Ed Brubaker. In part 1 you'll hear about the return of Criminal, with next month's opening chapter of "The Sinners" . Ed talks about future arcs, and what we'll find in the Criminal Omnibus , which comes out in November. We'll also take a look at the wrap up of the first Incognito arc, and discuss the progression of the Marvel Comics story events Captain America: Reborn, and the Marvels Project.
Here's Part 2
we pick up where we left off with writer Ed Brubaker. You’ll hear more about the characters of Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes as they share the mantle of Captain America, in The Reborn mini series , and what Ed has plans in the months ahead in both the regular series and the Cap One shot coming in December.
We look at Ed’s wrap-up of Daredevil and where he’s left the character for Andy Diggle to take over. Plus we discuss the important supporting DD cast members during Ed’s run, from Dakota North , to Lady Bullseye and Master Izzo .
Plus more on Criminal’s return in October, Ed’s Internet/DVD Direct crime film Angel Of Death, and some of his new TV and film recommendations .

I REALLY ENJOYED iNCOGNITO AND WHERE bRUBAKER LEFT THE CHARACTERS.
great interview. I was going to wait for the trade on the Marvels Project, but after hearing your interview with Ed I had to get the floppies.
The Zepplin Pulp Characters part was interesting. I would like to learn more about them.
"Brian Bendis is one of the most profane and potty-mouthed people I know. The saltiness of the language that comes out of his brain makes Scarface blush. I mean, you can't imagine the stuff he says. Stuff like "#$%^knuckle" or "Monkey #($*%&^%!" Oh and then there's "Your Mother's @#$%^% cystic #$%^%!" I mean who thinks of these things?"-Joe Quesada
So funny John - you were respectful of Bru's time and tried to wrap up Part 2 when it was less than half over.
Glad the conversation continued. I got to add even more to my queue and I've gotta find Underbelly!?!?
As always, a great place for my mind to go while I work.
Yeah John great interview. I got the Underbelly DVD's Ed talked about. But what was that Dutch movie Sitrom Flame??? I googled it, but nothing yet. Can you help me? As a Dutchman I should see this movie.
