This would be great.
But I'm really hoping the success leads them to do more PKD books. Would love to see comic adaptations of books like UBIK and FLOW MY TEARS THE POLICEMAN SAID.
I am currently loving the Boom! Studios opus Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. For those who don't know, the entire novel is being printed in comic form.
The next novel that would be GREAT for this type of "adaptation" would be Orwell's 1984.
What do you think?
This would be great.

I don't understand the appeal of comic book adaptations of novels.

One way to think of it is this: A comic book adaptation potentially creates a bigger audience for the original book.
Hoiw many people have ever read the original Wizard of OZ? The more common response would be that people have watched the movie. Marvel's adaptation of Oz was great and very close to the source material. It may entice some to hunt down and read the book.
I think that comic writer's today are looking to hold true to the source material. The upcoming Complete Alice will certainly be a big success.
Hell yeah. I'd definitely buy a copy.
Now if Animal Farm was made into a comic, I'd buy 15 copies.
