I miss Young Justice or the future of the teen titans title

The team line up, the creative team, the charm, the humor.
Peter David did a tremendous, funny, heartbraking and underappreaciated run on this title and todd naack was one of the most consistent artists back in the day. there were some fun crossovers, the whole secret situation was intriguing and the comics had an innocent touch to them.

then johns relaunched the title as teen titans, and I also dug and loved that, but it was a different book. and then the whole losing team members thing began, because of the involvement in the big crossovers.

mckeever continued with an interesting approach and completely new characters I enjoyed, like miss martian, ravenger, kid devil and I also liked what he did with the wonder twins.
then he left or rather was forced to left, because he seemed to have troubles with where the series was supposed to go.
now the new writer has taken over and I am curious where the title is going.

I write this because, I realized the Teen Titans series is at number 73 and maybe bound for a relaunch in the near future. Most of their former series didnt make it this far. They have a relative unknown writing it,
    Spoiler:
they resurected two heavy hitters with bart and connor fairly recently. here fans clearly demand a return to the titans book and I am sure it will happen sooner than later.
    edit: just found this:
I think the JLA has had a very inconsistent roster for a while now, but that pales in comparison to the Teen Titans. Now with yet another death and the return of Superboy and Kid Flash, at what point can we see some consistency with the roster for more than a couple issues?

DiDio: In both those cases, both teams are in transition right now, and you'll probably see more consistency in terms of who the teams are by the beginning of the year. There are some changes that will be taking place.

Right now with Titans, we're showcasing a number of the individual characters because we wanted to spotlight them in ways that really brought them to a level of prominence, and more importantly, because we have future stories that we're preparing to tell with them. I think Tempest in Titans and then leading into Blackest Night #2 was a good one-two.

We also have plans in Teen Titans. We're probably coming closer to a set team. We'll be seeing the start of that with Issue #75 and #76. But then with Issues #77 and #78, I think we have Blackest Night, so that mixes the pot up a little bit. And then when we come back, we'll see a little bit firmer make-up of the team.

But one of the things I don't want to do is have a whole bunch of people leave and then a whole bunch of people join with no real story explanation or real cohesiveness on why this is taking place. So what might be deemed a change in roster is actually a more slow and gradual evolving of the cast, as you see people come and go. But I think there's a lot of story potential in reasons why people join the team and reasons why people leave the team. But I hate to see it happen all in one issue and lose what might be deemed potential stories.

I think johns has made some vague comments about returning to the characters sometime.
I enjoyed both johns and mckeever's run, haven't started on the new writer's isssues yet, but I am reading on, since I hold the franchise dear to my heart.
I find the line up interesting, but somehow I have the feeling there is gonna be a relaunch soon.

edit: I am not saying it should return as young justice, the teen titans franchise is THE brand, nor that the relaunch should ignore what happened since then, but a little fun would do good to the titans, it has been quite intense for them.

any thoughts on the future of the teen titans franchise? or you even reading? not much discussion going on lately about this title.

Unfortunately, Didio doesn't. So no Young Justice trades for us or any other YJ projects in the near future.

Loved the Teen Titans book there for awhile and would have jumped back into it if I had the money once
    Spoilers:
    Static
joined the team. I dunno though, Justice League was awesome when it restarted back up but I ended up dropping it again a couple months back once it started going nowhere. I would love for both books to be consistantly good again.

yeah, I am still missing some random issues, especially towards the end. but that will never be collected and it is ultra hard to track the single issues down.
