Bristol Palin's reality show pulled from prime time

TheWrap Bristol Palin, the political progeny who first captured the world's attention thanks to her out-of-wedlock shenanigans, has had a rough go of it lately. Her Lifetime reality show, "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp," premiered June 19 to dismal ratings and a critical drubbing.

Now, Lifetime is yanking the program from prime time and pushing it back an hour on Tuesday to 11 p.m, a network spokesperson confirmed. It will air a repeat of "Dance Moms" in the docu-series' old slot.

In its debut, "Life's a Tripp" eked out a total audience of 726,000 viewers and a meager 0.2 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.

The show follows the daughter of former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin as she lives in a Los Angeles mansion and volunteers for charity. She also brings along Tripp, the son she had as a teenager with Levi Johnston of Playgirl spread fame
