That's great! And Rivera is aweome indeed.
I took my family to the American Museum of Natural History yesterday, and some Marvel Comics guys were there. Larry Hama, Paolo Rivera, and Phil Jimenez.
The guys could not be nicer to my 5 year old son, Owen. Owen loves superheros and loves to draw so to meet some artists was amazing for him. Paolo even took some time to give Owen pointers on his art.
Owen asked Paolo if he knew how to draw Beast. There was a easle set up with a Wolverine headsketch already on it. Paolo drew an amazing Beast, and Owen then asked about Sabertooth. Paolo let Owen draw Sabertooth giving him some pointers.
Spoiler:
After Owen drew Sabertooth, Paolo let Owen keep the entire page:
Spoiler:
And Owen also got a Wolverine head sketch from Phil Jimenez:
Spoiler:
Nothing but the best to Paolo and Phil. They have made a fan for life!

Poor Larry Hama.
Awesome story and those sketches are pretty kickass.

Wow, that sounds like it was an amazing time!
Cool time!
Paolo is an old pro in the form of a young twenty-something-year old.
Check out his blog at http://paolorivera.blogspot.com/ and marvel at his technique, tips, and the busts he sculpts before some projects. He's the real deal!
Cool!
Bump for the weekday day crew.
Yes I'm bragging about my son. I'm a loving father who has no art skills and am living vicariously though him.

I'm curious, how well attended this event was?
Cool stuff. An Paolo is indeed awesome. I still consider the sketch I got from him one of the best pieces I own.
