The first book I bought was OUT and it was the first two pages of issue... #35 I think that got me. DD sitting on the lamp post with his mask off, looking down at the crowd of journalists. Damn...
And it was panels like this, this, this and this that made the characters come to life, made me care about the characters.
If it wasn't for Alex' art I would never have picked up a comic at all. And I wouldn't be writing or drawing or editing any either.
