Opening DD 26 changed the way I viewed comic art. It spoked to me, "this is how comics can be!"
Maleev's art is a wet dream come true for me. It grounds the fantastic into reality. It makes the story believable, real.
I remember sitting up in bed at night reading DD comics with my gf, brought together by a love for fine art and amazed that we were finding it in the pages of Daredevil. (well, she was)
