Board Meetup May 16th, in North Carolina

Do we want this meet-up to be in downtown or not? May 16th is a Saturday, and downtown can get pretty damn crazy around here, with it being a college town and all that stuff.

I'll look into restaurants around the out-side downtown area. As far as a good bar goes, there's a microbrewery that has a bar on the 2nd floor. They only card if you buy beer, and it's a smaller place. Also, they have free pool, darts, and, believe it or not, ping pong.

Going downtown would be nice, but I think the extreme traffic/lack of parking, might present an issue.

i'd vote outside of town ish hopefully somewhere with lots of parking. downtown areas tend to have shitty parking.

If that's the idea, we should hit up Horny Blows. Best beer in town, and it's nice and potent. Plus, it's like .5 miles from my house, and there's a motel right around the corner. It's (the motel) a mom and pop place, so I doubt it's too expensive.

I'm still checking for a restaurant. Any one got any ideas? Thai, steakhouse, anything?

I'd vote steakhouse or somewhere with some choices. Thai usually has no options other then just that.
