I planned on checking it out but I don't get good vibes from it as far as getting the sense it'll last long. These shows that throw off a "Moonlighting" aura never last because the sexual tension thing just develops into a feeling of "shit or get off the pot, already!" The only plus side is that ABC's been promoting it hard so we'll see. What does it follow? Dancing With the Stars? That could be a good lead in.

Fillion looks awesome. The show looks like a a Stephen J. Cannell throwaway from the early 80s.

Hearing about the first episode it sounds like they had all they needed to give it some gravitas, too.

Spoilers:

There's someone going around copycatting his books? Well, dammit, make that a season long arc or something. Give him a nemesis with a personal link to him. A large mystery that actually gives him a reason to stick around while they find themselves embroiled in smaller cases. Instead it sounds like they solve the thing within the pilot and take away the show's M.O. before it even starts.
