finally met mark evanier, stan sakai, gerard jones, scott morse, judd winnick, axel alonso, scott lobdel, tony dezuniga (got an awesome jonah hex sketch) , alex nino.
really glad to see matt wagner, ross richie, chip mosier, ivan brandon, azzarello & jill thompson, joe casey, mark schultz, gary & tom gianni, jann jones, fletcher chu fong , and my newsarama pal matt brady.
Spent a lot of late night time time with MACK,hanging out with our mutual friends, and really had fun.
Sunday night, we had a great group of people including David, Sergio Aragones (who naturally told hilarious stories) David Petersen (Mouse Guard) , Chrstian Beranek, Tony DiGerlomo, and Thomas Mauer.
Spent some funny afternoon hrs with Fraction, Remender, and Brubaker .
Matt didn't have a moderator for his panel, so he asked if I would?
Brubaker introduced me to Judd Winnick and fmr Angel Producer Jeffery Bell, as The Elvis Mitchell of comic podcasters "when you're on with john, it's like talking to a friend" . said ed
Didn't get back till monday night , so I spent the afternoon hanging in chinatown and little italy .
ate lunch at francis ford coppola's zoetrope cafe , which is down the street from this ancient tavern that jack dempsey hung out at before winning the hvy wt championship.
shopped at city lights bookstore, which was a legendary beat poet hang out.
really an amazing city, so glad i could go this year.
