I agree that it was uneven. Personally, I liked the Booster Gold and outer space stuff the best. I think I liked the Question stuff, too. I don't remember liking the Steel and Black Adam stuff too much.
I disagree on the first bit and agree on the second. It's uneven, but it's also a weekly anthology. You're going to have some shit that clicks and some shit that doesn't. I found the space stuff entertaining, actually. I enjoyed the Black Adam stuff. I don't remember liking the Steel and Infinity Inc. stuff and the Island of Mad Scientists was off-putting at first (I warmed up to it).

I have no idea how it would read collected though.

The Black Adam stuff seemed okay, but I kinda started losing interest in it after he got his Black Marvel Family thing. It's similar to the thing with Ralph Dibny. There's so many pages to fill, the subplots have to take a lot of turns, and eventually they get to a point that isn't so appealing.

One of my favorite 52 memories was a story Albert told me. He was covering a DC 52 panel at Comic-Con (I don't know why I didn't go. I was either shopping or at some other panel), and some idiot asking a question mentioned that he read every issue of 52 in real time. Meaning on the Wednesday it was released, he'd only read the part of the issue covering that day. If things moved to the next day or later in the week, he'd wait to read those parts. That seemed like a real stupid thing to do, especially since they'd sometimes have pages with individual panels taking place on successive days -- he only looked at one panel a day?

I'll second this. I thought the Black Adam story was awesome.

Mostly I'm interested in The Question/ Montoya. From what I've heard 52 is a good place for her

Yeah, and after 52, forget it. As far as I know the character hasn't been used interestingly since.

I just got to a page where Lex Luthor is reading the results of a test he had done on himself before. There were three paragraphs. The first was a lot of fgdaljfasljfasdlasjofiasdjoiao. The second one was the results Lex wanted to read, and the third one a lot of tataslmtkasrkasrkasjdfksajfkastgajo.
