Admittedly, I'm in an insomniac stupor, but the description, followed by the awfulness of the clip...Judge all you want, but it got me.

"If a baby were President, there would be no taxes. There would be no war. There would be no...government, and...things could get terrible. And actually probably it would be a better screenplay idea then a serious suggestion."
Shit, I can see and I wouldn't high-five Seacrest. Brad and Angelina had the right idea when they ignored him at the Golden Globes.

Before I hit play on the thing, I thought it was that guy from Mad TV (Michael McDonald, I think) doing one of his characters...

I could totally see that. The whole bit of business at the end is something I could totally see being in a sketch show.
As noted, I'm wiped, and skimming the Tyler guy's post, I somehow missed the sarcasm entirely, thinking some dude was just an ass on AMERICAN IDOL. After the first two seconds of the clip, I chuckled and got the joke in his initial post. Because of that, I assumed he'd been kidding about the high five, so when that happened, I exploded.
Your mileage may vary, but it amazed me.
That was awesome, a FAIL moment if I've ever seen one. Fucking Seacrest![]()
I can't believe the editors put that in the episode![]()
My wife watches, I don't, but I happen to catch that last night and almost pissed myself.
