Hmm how was Final Crisis: Secret Files? Although it seems the solicit misfired since Len Wein is writing the story with Libra and Peter Tomasi and Frank Quitely were nowhere mentioned in the preview I saw.

Also who's looking forward to Fabian Niceza's Gotham Gazette?

It's ok. I feared that much like many veteran writers, Wein's work would be really out dated. It isnt. It's a solid, if slightly cliched story. The art is solid enough as well.

I would pass on it though overall, it's not a essential part of Final Crisis. However, if you really want to read it, nothing is bad about it, I just dont think it's overly important to the overall story and you can probably save the money and not miss anything should you choose to do so.

I'm not sure about any of this "Battle For the Cowl" stuff, the main story or tie-ins. I honestly havent decided if I will be buying it yet or not, I'm fearing it's just gonna be one, big, dumb slug fest with more focus on "Kewl, Nightwing fighting Jason Todd!!" rather than creating a logical, good, smart story.
