Did anyone else watch the new Ken Burns miniseries The National Parks: America's Best Idea? It was pretty great and definitely worth a look, especially in hi-def.

That also reminds me that I recently watched another Ken Burns documentary Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson and it is a must for anyone who enjoys American history and boxing. Absolutely amazing documentary about one of the most fascinating athletes that ever lived.

Cool, is that available anywhere? I didn't have time to watch the special features on the disc and will be pissed if that's where it is..

Ok this might be a shot in the dark but a while on smodcast Kevin Smith talked about a Docu about the the of Agriculture under Nixon and how he created high fructose corn syrup, and I was wondering if anyone knew the name of it.

Don't know if it's what you're thinking of but there's a documentary called King Corn which is about corn subsidies and big business. It's in my netflix Queue but I haven't seen it yet so I don't know if it reference Nixon or not.
