BB Review Group Voting Thread for 1/2

Quick summary of what this thread is:

    Spoiler:
This thread is for everyone to determine what book we will review in the BB Review Thread. In the past we took turns picking a book but now we are openly voting for titles we would like to see reviewed. Everyone is welcome to participate, no need to ask.

After visiting the Midtown shipping list (or another one you prefer) and looking over the choices please nominate one book. At the end of the week (thread closes on Tuesday at 6pm EST) the title with the most votes wins. Feel free to lobby for your choice as much as you please

There are no restrictions on what you can nominate and vote. Any publisher (no matter how small) any price (singles, trades, hardcovers ect) and import titles are all fair game.

We will do a new thread every week to do these votes

Here's the list of what is shipping 1/2:

Well, this is going to be a slam-dunk.

    Incognito #1

As an aside, does ANYONE know what Fantastic Four Cosmic Size #1 is about, or who the creative team even is? It's a week before it comes out, and Marvel still hasn't released any information. I didn't order it, and will decide in-store.

    FANTASTIC FOUR COSMIC SPECIAL (OCT082405)
    Written by CARY BATES
    Pencils by BING CANSINO
    Cover by FRANCESCO MATTINA
When Reed and Ben return from an excursion in a pocket dimension they bring a nasty toxin back with them that requires The Fantastic Four to place themselves under quarantine in the Baxter Building for two days. No big deal, right? Wrong! What starts out as a series of petty squabbles along the lines of a typical episode of THE REAL WORLD quickly escalates to def-con 5 level life-and-death grudge matches that put Reed and Sue, Ben and Johnny at each other’s throats. With all the adults going insane, it’s up to young Valeria and Franklin to save the day–and their family–before no one under the Baxter roof is left alive! Plus, a classic FF story by John Byrne!

Oh, and my not picking Incognito #1 isnt because I'm not excited about it, I am, but I feel War Machine will be a much more interesting review.

I'm buying both, but Brubaker/Phillips on supervillains? This is going to be awesome!

I just don't think War Machine will be THAT interesting a review. It looks like a perfectly solid, entertaining superhero launch. Nothing likely to be controversial or divisive there.

The best part is seeing a Cary Bates written book mention The Real World in it's solicitation. For some reason that just makes me chuckle cause, any younger reader who is actually interested in that comparison probably isnt gonna dig an old-school writers work. Just a guess....
