    The Crow Remake?

So, the Crow is one of my favorite movies. And now there is a planned remake. I usually don't mind remakes because I have to remember that they are made for an audience that is younger and probably hasn't watch the original.

I can only hope its good because the original with Brandon Lee deserves that much

Not looking forward to it altogether too much. The original had a certain style to it that most likely will not be able to be duplicated.

Another a similar note - there has been mention of restarting the Blade franchise as well. It would be comical if these two movies came out around the same time.

Given why the author wrote the Crow graphic novel in the first place and what happened to Brandon Lee on the first movie, I say just let it be. There are plenty of other movies out there to remake, leave this one alone. It was a great movie, why mess with it?

Ah, Stephen Norrington, the director who swore off working in Hollywood when he almost when around with Sean Connery several times on the set of THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMAN.

Also, the head of Relativity Media, Ryan Kavanaugh, was arrested for driving with a suspended license, speeding, and drunken driving, all while on probation, mere weeks ago. This is a guy who brokes huge co-finance deals with the major studios ... and possibly, if Universal has their way, the new owner of their genre arm, Rogue Pictures. Oy.

Some days I love this industry, and some days I hate it.

Some things dont need to be remade. Unless its a comic character who happens to be a skrull, who happens to be someone else

No, I havent read it, but from what I hear from those out there who are a bit more well read, the story boils down to this -

Secret Invasion - the etch-a-sketch of the Marvel U

Crap crap crap - shake - 'Never Happened' - shake - [Repeat Process]

I'm watching the Crow on tv and was thinking Johnny Depp would be great to play Bradon Lee's part.

Ugh, I don't know, I think it will be hard to re-make, the original is amazing. The Crow, City of Angels wasn't all that great, IMO.

It could be done well I suppose, but given the circumstances of the original, would be in really really poor taste. Plenty of other stuff to mine, so NO.
