I see your point doc, but for these particular sculpts, I think Randy is sitting on a goldmine. I don't think he will have a problem selling both FS and MBs, especially of Red Hulk, Planet Hulk, and Maestro. Then again, I work in non-profit, so I don't know squat when it comes to business.

For purely my own selfish reasons, I hope we see Red Hulk and Planet Hulk as MBs. I just don't want either one of these to pass me by if they are FS only. With the number of Hulk sculpts being released and the tanking economy, MBs would be a great way for collectors to get these great pieces.

I think you're both right, Hed Rulk and Doc; mini-busts of these characters would be great, but it would benefit Randy to stagger the releases so that consumers weren't given the simultaneous opportunity to buy a full-size or a mini-bust. You'd want to wait until the full-size has been up for a few months, orders have come in, maybe after it's been solicited in Diamond, and then show the bust (which would presumably be tweaked for a little "added value") so as to lure new customers as well as buyers of the full-size to order it, too. The Zombie mini-bust is a textbook example of this.

So, my point is ... I want a Red Hulk mini-bust.

Voted "possibly", but . . . if I know for a fact that a MB were to be done (before the FS goes up for sale), I would defintely prefer a MB, as lacking a strong preference for this character, I'd just as soon have a complementary piece for my Hulk display rather than investing the coinage in a FS. Same applies to a Maestro, and maybe even the Planet Hulk (on the fence on the PH as to whether or not I'd prefer a FS).

No disagreement there, hence why I'd prefer to see a more affordable (MB) piece to "complement" a Hulk display.

Based on these numbers, I'd wager there'd be a few converts from the "Hello No!" choice upon seeing a final, paint app'd bust. A finished Bowen product sample has a lot of power over people's spending habits ...

I'm going to buy the FS, but I'd probably buy a MB too depending on the sculpt....
