Artwork from Oysterboy's personal comic project, and sketchbook

Here's a comic I'm doing entirely as a one man show. It's going to be an indie feeling slasher teen horror flick kind of deal. It's taking place in my small hometown which I will reference for all the locations, like this house on the first page.

Please let me know what you think so far.

And here's some random stuff I've done recently in prep for my comic. ...which went a completely different direction than originally planned.

    Thanks Paul.

Yes it was. It was never submitted though. I never finished the edits and put in the dialogue, etc. I kind of got busy with life and put it on the back burner, and then I think the writer's got pissed and gave up on me.

    Great work as always man.

I was going to say the lettering in the first bubble was kind of hard to read, but it seemed to get better later in the page.

I like the pin up sketches as well.

Very cool, I really love your stuff. I'd consider pushing your blacks a bit more in photoshop, because you can see the brush strokes in some of your larger blacks. Granted that's part of your style and it may make the linework a bit too clean, but I'd say play around with it a bit and see what you get. I'd also think about varying your shots a bit more. Granted these are establishing, talking head kind of shots but all three of the page width panels are pretty much flat, straight-on medium shots. Switching it up might help it look more dynamic. Not trying to be harsh, just helpful.
