X-Infernus / Psylocke

Hi, Mr. Cebulski. I'm a huge Psylocke fan and as of late, we've been hearing rumours about Betsy's return to the main Marvel Universe and that she plays a role in X-Infernus. Is this really true? What can we expect for Psylocke?

Thanks so much for posting!

Now I hate to have to burst your bubble, but unfortunately Betsy will not be showing up in X-Infernus. I love the character and will admit that there was some initial talk of maybe including Psylocke in the series. However, in the end, it felt like we were unnaturally shoehorning her in and we decided it was not in the best interests of the character to have her play a role here. While I regret not being able to write her, I think we did make the best decision for the lovely Miss Braddock.

Hopefully we'll be seeing more of Psylocke in the Marvel Universe in the future in some way, shape or form. I know I'd love to have her back as soon as possible!

What a let down.

But thank you so much for answering Mr. Cebulski. I still can't wait for X-Infernus. It's just that with all these rumours that Psylocke is coming back and with you saying that some characters would be returning in X-Infernus, we kinda just assumed you were talking about Psylocke. But New Exiles is not part of the regular Marvel Universe, right?

I think it's kinda part of all Marvel Universes. It has the 616 Psylocke in it, and Longshot was a big part of the old Exiles book, I think. It's just a bunch of different characters from different universes hopping around realities.

That's my understanding, anyway. I'm not a regular Exiles reader, though.
