He went on a tear on the bad signal one day about how he doesn't think using podcasts to basically do talk radio on the computer is using them to their fullest. Like you're not going to build this new media into something by just porting over the old dying media.

I think the interview format is viable on any media platform , and if anything the net makes a show like mine possible, because it reaches fans from all over. we've seen it go from print, to radio, to TV, and now the net.

Well, as a listener from Cork in the deep south of Ireland, I can only agree with your point about what the net makes possible. Without it, I would not be aware of your show and I would have been denied I don't know how many wonderful interviews with creators. It sounds like Warren Ellis is being contrary for the sake of being contrary, which, if true, is a bit of a shame. He's a brilliant writer (though I suspect Bill Willingham wouldn't be a fan!) and a career retrospective would surely make for great listening. But if he has gone on the record with his views, presumably he won't do a 180. That's a pity!
