Just pre-ordered Red Sonja after seeing the ad in Army of Darkness.
Anyone else looking forward to this book?

I don't know what to do with this one. I can't pan something I've not read and Oeming and Carey are damned reputable for their bodies of work.

But I saw a few pages somewhere and...seeing like three or four panels on a page dedicated to her ass and ass dimples really isn't what I look for in comics. I just got the impression from what I saw that it was a little too chesse-cake. I'll pick up the $.25 issue because it is a damned quarter and there isn't any reason someone should turn down a book THAT cheap.

As for #1? I'm tempted because firstly, I collect art (covers) by some of those folks and the Linsner cover is incredible. Ross...Turner...lol I could "waste" money buying most of them. But if it isn't something that, content-wise after the "cheapie" issue I'm digging....I don't know what I'm gonna do.

I'm sure it'll sell like gangbusters though.

Well, part of Sonja's character has ALWAYS been her sexuality-This is a woman who wont be with a man unless he can kill her

If any chick in comics is allowed to show herself off, its clearly Sonja

When is Red Sonja coming out? I put it on my pull list and have heard that it has been ordered in great numbers by comic stores all over, but I haven't gotten mine yet. Please say it hasn't come out yet, I'd hate to have missed it.

Not sure- it jsut went to the printer, so I guess late april.
