ITEM! i know there is much confusion and debate over the New Avengers schedule. here's the scoop.
it is not a permanent thing. one of the reasons Steve Mcniven is already at work on the second arc is so David Finch can go right from issue 6 to issue 10.
So yes, we are dragging a little bit now but its all about bringing you the highest quality. these scripts are a ***** to draw. lots of characters in each panel. but with Mcniven's fill ins we will be back on a normal schedule very, very soon.
ITEM! Speaking of Mcniven's arc. THE SENTRY. though i do not have any art to show you yet. i do have the cover to issue 8 in pencil, ink, and full color. its really striking and shows what a team effort it is. that art can be found on the jinxworld.com news section.
ITEM! The alt covers for this arc will be by classic silver age Marvel superstars. issue 7 is by Dave Cockrum, issue 8 is by none other than John Romita Sr. doing a Sentry wedding cover at sentry creator Paul Jenkins request, and issue 9 is by the legendary Marie Severin.
If you do not know these names, please go find out who they are. They are true greats.
these special alt covers are not New Avengers covers, but Startling Stories covers on NA- that is the comic the Sentry appeared in that no one can find. i do not know what the ordering plan is. if you don't like alt covers, don't buy them.
ITEM! Also in issue 7 is a special sequence by legend Sal Buscema, which i am super jazzed about and marks my last retro segment ever. i dipped into that pond a bit, i know, but look who i get to do it with.
ITEM! House of M is coming sooner than you think. i can report its officially a world class effort as the first two issues are colored and lettered. the double page spread house ad is up on the jinxworld newspage.
ITEM! also on the Jinxworld newspage is an exclusive look at Mark Bagley's super-man/ spider-man piece for the Bill Loebs auction

ITEM! the not so secret, super secret video game i have been working on for the last year and a half is being announced very soon. i have been told it is the cover story of playstation magazine that ships the same week as E3 in may.
I will be at E3 for the first time to help sell it but i don't think it'll need my bald help. this is a cool video game. how do i know? i have a beta of it here at my house
ITEM! i know BKV has been hinting at some ultimate project that i and Mark Millar are involved in. it is not as reported elsewhere a handbook or guide. all i will say for now is that BKV is a very generous bastard! and i like Mark Brooks.
