Seriously, why does Lucas get to make movies?

I don't see movies in the theater very often. Heh, about as often as I post here anymore Lance and I managed to get a date night on Friday and went to see the Indy movie. The *only* reason I was willing to see the movie was because I knew Spielberg was involved and I had hopes he would do right by the movie.

Oh sweet Jesus I was wrong. I have decided that Spielberg is so far up Lucas' ass, he is a human diamond. I mean, what could he possibly have spent all his money on to need to do another movie...ever?

I will not easily see another thing that Lucas is inolved with, and doubt I'll see something with Spielbergs name on it.

Yes the latest trilogy had its bad moments but George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are both talented film makers.

George lucas made at least 5 or 6 amazing movies many years ago. As a reward for that, he's allowed to be fantastically rich and make what ever kind of terrible movies he wants.
