And a player with 18 wins is a viable pitcher, it means he's a good pitcher!

But there's so much luck involved in it. I mean, say a guy comes in with a 1 run lead and gives up a fly ball. Unfortunately for this pitcher, his LF is Jose Canseco and the ball bounces off his head and over the fence.
