You should post this query on the Oeming boards too. There's specifically a lot of pro artists there.
Hi there, all -
I have a book coming out soon from an excellent publisher - an OGN. It's done, but for the cover. I had a great guy lined up, but he had to back out, and so I wanted to check in with the community here to see if anyone had any recommendations. It's PAID work, and the cover (and the book inside it)will find its way to stores (and hopefully bookshelves) all over the place.
I'd like to find someone with graphic design experience as well as illustration, so as to be able to create something that integrates the text elements of the cover in a cool way. I'd like to work with someone professional, experienced, fast, brilliant, professional and professional. Ideally, an actual working pro, but I'm totally up for talking to experienced, fast, brilliant newcomers... as long as they are professional.
If anyone's interested, or can point me in the direction of someone who might fit the bill, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks,
Charles

Detailed, realistic, eye-catching. Not anime or cartoon styled, and not 4-color, so to speak. Tim Bradstreet-esque, kind of. I have a pretty specific idea about one concept for it, but I'm always open to suggestions from people who are better at this stuff than me.

You want Adam Geen.
He posts here on the boards...you should drop him a line.
Ronald Salas (Musashi) might fit the bill too.
