Personally, I hated Hulk. I wanted to see Hulk, not puny Bruce Banner. Honestly, they could have worked it out so much better, but the whole film just disappointed me. Hulk action scenes were okay, but otherwise I thought the movie was lame.

It could have been infinitely better. It easily could have rivalled or surpassed the success of X-Men (hulk is a much more well-known icon among the general public with a built-in fanbase thanks to his old show). But, instead, it might not even ever have a sequel.

Haven't seen it. Probably won't until its on the USA fourteen times some Memorial Day weekend. Don't really don't want to see it. I read the plot, it sounded horrible. I like the idea of the Hulk film as a monster movie and a psychological flick instead of a silly Godzilla movie. But it still has to be good.

Eh, I think the Hulk is only big amoung the adults that were kids when it was on. The X-Men cartoon was much more recent, and put them into the culture just as much as the Hulk by that point. IMO anyway.

Well, I'm a huge Hulk fan too, and I think it's one of the best superhero films.

    Different strokes and what not.

And Hellboy? Sure it looked like it, but what a snoozefest.. horrible film.

I agree with Hellboy. I thought it was and okay film when I saw it in theaters, then rewatched it recently and thought "Man... this film kind of sucks now." And sadly, it did.

The only thing I would've added was more dialogue (or any) dialogue from the Hulk himself. Maybe a well placed "Hulk smash!".

I disagree. The Hulk has remained in the public consciousness, even among kids. That's why the tie-ins and toys for the Hulk movie brought in lots of money, even if the movie itself didn't.

It was a good film. The SFX could have been a little better (in some scenes, Hulk looks like he's made of Play-Dough), Nick Nolte should have scaled his performance way back, and really, there was no need for the Hulk Dogs, but all in all I felt I got value for my money, and would like to see a sequel sooner rather than later.
