What I'm saying is that for every Frank Miller Year One issue of Batman, there are three issues of Azrael on the cover. For every Jim Lee Hush issue, there is a Judd fucking Winick issue.

Let Morrison stir shit up for six issues. Crazy is better than lazy.

Oh, you were talking just Batman. Ah. Well, there was a lot of good stuff, a lot of it not classic though. As for Hush, Jim Lee was the real star of that book.

The problem is less creative and more quality. There are A LOT of good ideas through out Morrison's Batman run, but most of the time they havent resulted in anything memorable.

Seriously, I'm not saying this to shit on Grant Morrison, I like most of his work, hell I love most of his work, but his Batman run has been a major let down. Overall it hasnt been overly bad or anything like that, but when you consider the talent that has worked on the book with Morrison, Andy Kubert, Tony Daniel, etc., this book SHOULD be better than it has been. Thus far Batman injecting himself with Heroin might be the most "interesting" thing Morrison has done with the character thus far, the rest of it has been "ho-hum".

I agree. I was expecting MUCH better from Morrison on Batman.

I agree. He definetely should have stayed dead. The only really good thing about his resurrection was his beating the hell out of the Joker with the crowbar, and his role in Batman #650. But still, he should have stayed dead. The mythos had moved on.

Next thing we know, ol' Brucey is a smacked-out vagrant on the street, whilst the Black Glove has taken over the Batcave.
