So, now that the run's over, thoughts?

I was really disappointed, and the delays only made it worse. I thought the last issue was the best one, and even that felt significantly worse than any Vaughan issue. And I love Whedon. The ending was sweet, though, and it'll be interesting to see what Klara adds to the team.

I also kept forgetting during the issue that Klara wasn't a boy. Like, not based on her name. Just her appearance.

Instantly, right of the bat, her presence in this book makes my excitement for the Moore run go down a notch.

Seriously, I thought this was going to be one of the best runs in Marvel history but at best it was just sub-par.

Listen, you can say, "Delays don't matter, only the story does." but delays KILLED this book. Issues would be released almost bi annually if not eight months apart.

The art was at best average. It was just plain throughout. Nothing terrible, but nothing jaw dropping either.

As Ray said, Whedon never really surpassed Vaughn's issues.
