Me, ben & Steve bought his book & had him sign it so as not to be douchebags. I think 3 books for one picture clears the 5 of us of any malice. I don't think he noticed the comics until after.

Another captured moment from my camera... (slightly different).
Tony had the great excuse that we were comic geeks hanging out that also liked Evan's performance on Californiacation and Studio 60 (the partial truth). Before taking the picture, the guys that actually bought the book pulled out the Bendis comics like ninjas.
Evan and the Sex & the City fans were confused afterwards as to why were holding comics. If they only knew.
Yeah, I felt bad for not buying his book at the moment but Fake Bendis was too good to pass up. Steve had the awesome suggestion of getting Bendis to sign this.
Totally worth hanging out.
