So I've been picking up the library editions at a good discount recently, but I don't have any other experience with Hellboy. Is any of the other material in a large collection format and worth picking up? I've seen a BPRD Hardcover Collection solicited. Thoughts on it? Is there anything else worth considering?

There's a couple of BPRD HC collections, they're fantastic and have great art by Guy Davis, Ryan Sook, Cameron Stewart, some guy I've never heard of by the name of Mike Oeming

I love BPRD. I switched to buying it in trades, but have broke down and also purchased the first HC collection.

BPRD: The Long Death #1 is not an optional purchase. If it were the third in the series, I'd be willing to be it's the best comic I'll read all year. John Arcudi and James Harren absolutely killed it.
