I love Mignola. I love his stories. But I prefer Duncan's art on Hellboy. Mignola's art comes off (to me) as him just being bored. There's no detail and I feel he is very lazy when it comes to that kind of stuff.
Things just getting even bigger for the BPRD

The simplicity of the art that comes from Mignola's minimalist approach makes it all the more beautiful and haunting. Duncan's done an amazing job, but there's no comparison.
Ben fights on the side of good, for once.
While I do enjoy Duncan Fegredo on HELLBOY quite a bit (really, he's the perfect choice for the character. Loved his work since 1st seeing it in ENIGMA), I think you guys are way off on Mignola. What makes his artwork so wonderful, for me, is that it's the most detailed simplistic artwork I've ever seen. He doesn't put anything in there that doesn't need to be in there. Go back and look at the panels and how they are laid out and how a page is structured. His use of negative space is rivaled only by Frank Miller's work in SIN CITY but it's much more beautiful than SIN CITY.
