I wonder what that hardcover will end up collecting?
"Reality is not a popularity contest. Reality is what it is, regardless of who knows it"
"The well-meaning contention that all ideas have equal merit seems to me little different from the disastrous contention that no ideas have any merit." Carl Sagan
Really looking forward to the Corben book that's coming out, it should be awesome.
It has really never been a better time to be a Hellboy/BPRD fan. I love every single comic that is put out under these brands.
Out tomorrow!
B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: Russia #1 PREVIEW
I disagree; I think that the months when we got Universal Machine/Garden of Souls, up to when Guy Davis got the Eisner, were the best post-Mignola-drawing-Hellboy months. Without Guy, there's a huge hole in the Hellboy universe.
I think the brand is in a major transitional state right now.
Oh I certainly miss Guy. He was my favorite right next to Duncan, but I find the stories so intriguing now. It almost kills me when they do stories that go gack to the past because I am so caught up in what is going on "now."
As good as UM/GoS were, I feel the stories have gotten even better.
The only thing I'm not so hot on is the new BPRD regular artist Tyler Crook. They should have just made Ryan Sook the guy instead of just having him do covers on the last BPRD series.
