Nah, that about covers them. Except I'm not a fan of Aragones SPIRIT. It really is too retro for it's own good. I honestly think I'm dropping it now with the intent to pick them back up in dollar bins down the road, but this probably should have ended with Cooke.

Other than that, I can't really see anything particularly missing from that list. The FEAR AGENT issue that came out that month (19 I think it was) was really damn excellent.

Ganges #2 and All Star Superman #10 would definitely be on there. Ganges #2 is my favorite comic of the year so far.

Other than that, I dunno what came out. Maybe Kick Ass #1.

Nonononono... that doesn't cover them all and barely scratches the surface.

Talking of Fear Agent, has the Michael Cho story in TALES OF THE FEAR AGENT been published yet? I can't seem to find any information online. It was great that Cho inked one of the stories in the JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE NEW FRONTIER SPECIAL. I'm pretty sure he'll be a household name in a couple of years.

I enjoyed Aragones and Evanier's first two and a half issues. Always been a fan of Mike Ploog. And Paul Smith exceeded my expectations with linework that looks simple and natural. The book is crafted with heart and soul, Denny Colt wears a blue suit. And who knows when we will see another series of Spirit comics? With the 24th volume of WILL EISNER'S THE SPIRIT ARCHIVES shipping next week I'm running out of new Spirit stories to read.

The new Glenn Ganges story is Eisner award worthy. The moment when they all start changing their names... And it's really tapping into the Zeitgeist.

All of Grant Morrison's recent books had dense interwoven structures, even something like DC UNIVERSE: ZERO that looks like a throwaway issue at first. But then you notice how carefully constructed it is.

Someone over at CBR came up with some interesting thoughts on ALL STAR SUPERMAN #10. I still wonder who's behind Leo Quintus.

    OMEGA UNKNOWN #6
    TWELVE #3
    MADMAN ATOMIC COMICS #7
    ALL STAR SUPERMAN #10
    SAVAGE DRAGON #135
    MIGHTY AVENGERS #11
    NEW AVENGERS #39

I think those are all of the new comics I bought that month. OMEGA and ASS were the stand outs. The Twelve is pretty good too. I need to catch up with that...
