Why David Mack is the Coolest Man Alive

I was on a bit of a Mack kick on Saturday. I'd purchased volumed 3 and 4 of Kabuki, intending to have him sign it. (I'm a little behind on the series.) I went over to his booth in artists alley and talked with him a bit. I bought two prints, a sketch, and a copy of Reflections #8. I spent 46 dollars. Not only did he sign them all but he threw in a copy of Kabuki: the Alchemy 1-7, all of which he signed, for free. David, you're one of the nicest guys I've met. Thanks.

It was my first con, and a great experience. Though I was too shy to ask most creators for sketches or talk to them at any length. Hopefully I'll be able to more in Philly.

David Mack is the shit. I was quite the nervous fangirl. But he signed my stuff and was quite patient. I'm sure he's dealt with worse.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to meeting David Mack at CAPE next week. I'm bringing my Metamorphsis HC for him to sign. Everything that anyone has said about meeting Mr. Mack has been overwhelmingly positive. Does anyone know if he'll have any Shy Creatures copies there? Also, I can't wait to check out the live art show that Mack and Jim Mahfood are headlining, should be kick-ass.

Thanks a lot. It and I have a long way to go, but I really appreciate the support. And your comic was quite hilarious by the way.

EDIT: Once the rest of the pages get inked and lettered I'll post them on the boards. They should look a lot better then.
