What issue are you up to?

I just finished vol. 6 of the OHC's this morning. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the whole series and I'm very glad I did, I'm loving it.

Thudpucker, does May state that Mary is her sister in USM? Guess I don't recall that (typo? ha ha). I remember later like the Clone Saga her saying "you Parkers." I guess I always assumed Ben and Peter's father were brothers and left it at that.

OK now I'm going to read that Wikipedia entry and likely answer my own question ...

I read the trades off and on over the years at Barnes and Noble. But that was more just kind of skimming thru them.

I'm not a big Spider-man fan, I'm still not. But I love the work Bendis is doing with Peter and especially with MJ. He finally won me over to the point I want to own this series and re-read it all every few years.

Yes, May specifically says it. It was during the Venem arc, when Peter finds the video tape of his parents in the basement and he decides to find Eddie Brock to give him a copy.

When May is telling Peter about his parents stuff in the basement she says that Peters Mom was her sister.

so you havent read any of the newest stuff yet?

i think that USM is some of bendis' best work for hire character development and interaction.

No, I've read up to trade 19. I'm just taking my time now and re-reading it all.

Every story ever told has hanging threads.

If you pull at them, you're only going to hurt yourself.
