On message board usually (never used this one as an admin) you can allow just some type of html tag. So they probably could allow just the embed tag or whatever is needed by youtube to make it work. No need to allow javascript and other tag...Originally Posted by NickT

They could create a Youtube BB code that allowed you to just post the url of the youtube video (ex A). This would still keep HTML to OFF but allow embedded videos. The problem is it would allow any video from any site. Unless of course they did the code to only allow you the trailing end of the video to force it to be YouTube (ex B)

Plus it brings the question of displaying copyrighted materials into play.

Simple reason.
Most work sites block You Tube because it drains THEIR bandwidth.
So, it could potentially cause the board to get blocked for some visitors.
I'm definitely opposed to it. I'd probably have to stop visiting the board.
