    server space and bandwith is not affected by embedding youtube video on the page... and I never heard of a bug exploit by embedding video from youtube for example.
    I don't know why we can't but I wish we could...

    Don't you have to allow some types of code to allow embedding? You allow embedding YouTube, you allow all HTML code.
