    Bowflex/Crossbow Workout routines

    Does anyone here have a Bowflex or a Crossbow workout system? I bought a barely used Crossbow from my friend but he didn't have the workout routine poster that came with it. Right now I am just doin my own thing on it but I would like to have a set routine of what to do and how for maximum workout. Anyone have any suggestions or copies of the routine I maybe could get? I have lost 30 pounds since February by doing a daily in home mile walk to the dvd Walk away the Pounds and watching what I eat. I now want to get on the muscle building track. Thanks!

    Yeah, I checked the net first before I inquired here. That is a PC program, I have a Mac. Thanks for your help even if it was slightly smart assy.

    Don't have one of those, but it'd probably be a safe bet to use whatever's closest to traditional-weight type workout's equivalent. I would rotate between two main routines- chest and triceps on day, and back and biceps on the next day. I would also work my legs every other day. Make sure to stretch before and after each workout, holding each stretch for 30-60 seconds. It will increase your flexibility and avoid injury. If you're serious about building muscle, you might want to try a pyramid routine where you start on a set that you can do 10 of, then increase to something you can do maybe 6 of, and ending with whatever's close to your max of which you might be able to do 2 of. For me, it was the fastest way to gain muscle. I went from doing a flat bench of 75 to 265 in about 9 months. Good luck, and I hope this advice is useful.

    Is the crossbow workout when you have a friend hunt you with a crossbow and you gotta dodge the arrows?

    That's a pretty intense one..
