Well, I won't need a new phone until I start my new job in late April, so maybe I'll buy a cheap disposable phone until the new iPhone is out a couple months later...
If you are going to wait for the new iPhone, the first batch will be at a premium just like the first batch of iPhones were. Depending on what you want to do with it will determine if you should wait or not. If you want to do alot of browsing the net then I would wait. If its just for the phone, some sms text messages and the odd internet stuff then there is no reason to wait other than they might drop the prices of the 1.0 when the 2.0's come out
I intend on doing a fair amount of browsing. Plus, I expect that the next one will have a hard drive larger than 16GB. I think I'm going to hold out. I just hope it's here before July.
It will probably be in 16 and 32GB forms but thats still flash and not hard drive
