Hmm . . . not to be argumentative (especially considering that you certainly appear to know what the heck you're talkin' about!), but I'm sure Cap appeared in MANY other comics with the "triangular" shield (though they may not have been titled "Captain America"), otherwise, why would so many (including Bowen's depiction) consider his triangular shield to be reflective of his "WWII" appearance??
Hey, what do I know (not much!). To me . . . Bucky is a "WWII" era character and since Bowen's WWII Cap statue is what it is, I'd be looking for a cover of Bucky and Cap with his triangular shield (though from what you've pointed out, I may be looking for quite a while!!).
