    Bowen & Comic Covers

As many of you know, there is a growing appreciation for the display concept of strategically placing a comic alongside a Bowen statue or bust. We ran a thread of this nature at the other forum and some of the comic recommendations were incredible. Let's see your recommendations for supporting comic covers is as popular here.

With all the new and unbelievable characters coming in Phase IV, what definative covers would you recommend for your collections?

Since I can't figure out how to post pictures, I'm going to ask your recommendations for the character Killraven.

Well...I don't know about Killraven, but Iron Man 126 by JRjr & Bob layton would be the ULTIMATE Iron Man statue by far...If Bowen Designs decided to go this route, I'm sure there would be a huge following for artists like byrne, N Adams, Kirby and the likes.

I have this kit and was disappointed with its size. DST Milestones in chrome is the best Layton Iron Man out right now IMO.

How does the DST one hold up against the Bowen stuff (scale wise)? I'm still shopping for a FS IM and I'm getting impatient waiting for the new modern FS...I gotta fill that gap soon.

Since Randy has picked up this kit...I really hope he tweaks the @#$% out it to make it look more like the cover.
