you need a cool pair of shades to put on that avatar![]()
Hey denny I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you. I'm new here obviously, and I don't know who's who yet.
I'm coming from Statue forum so I recognize a lot of people.
I assume you are one of the administrators here.
I posted about myself on the "tell us about yourself thread",..was just wondering if we can find out about you and this site in general.
thanks.
i have a question..Is it possible to just get a comic section just to talk about comics and related comic news![]()
we're obviously bored, give us the 411 about the site![]()
The Bendis Board/Jinxworld message board has been around for MANY years. I first joined when it was hosted at World Famous Comics. Bendis then moved it to Image before hosting it himself on his Jinxworld site.
Bendis has always had a relationship with his fans, he's always done a letters column, which he's famous for and his POWERS letter column is probably the best in the industry running for many pages. He's always been focused on his fans this way.
Everything happens here.
One story that stick out is the news that Waid/Ringo was leaving the FF, I believe, was broke here resulting in the site crashing from the traffic. I was on vacation of course.
This site has been quoted and used as a source by many comic book websites, Lying in the Gutters for example had a big story about David Mack and his upcoming issue on DD.
This is a very heavily trafficked website and Bendis offered hosting message boards for other creators our most popular being Oeming, Mack, Maleev, and Reed as well as DC's Ethan Van Sciver (go figure) and now Bowen. It appears the sites that are the most popular also have the most active creators posting.
