Another one of my favorite pieces is the Big Guy and Rusty statue that Dark Horse produced years ago.

The tranquility of the sculpt is what I like. I also like the fact that it doesnt have Barbie doll proportions.
Lessons from a 2 year old:
Cheerios do not make a DVD player work any better.
'Barbie' is synonymous with any female statue.

That's tough! I don't have too many others so I'll summarize what I have and why:

Thanos DST: Nailed the look, even if it's in 1/6 scale

DF Venom / Spidey Diorama: same reason, it's dead on to the source material

I also have all of the Bruce Timm style DC Animated women. I LOVED that cartoon and worked at a WB store. I had to have 'em!

I a few other faves are the Kabuki Moore statue by the Kucharic (SP) Bros. and the Moore Black Cat variant with fur! Love those looks!

Favorite non-Bowen? That would be the DS Thanos. I just wish it was bigger.
Sorry, RB, the light blue paint on the BD pieces just turned me off of them. A close second is the DS Green Goblin statue, not the bust

    Fav non-Bowen piece:
    Franklin Mint Spider-Man Statue.

    Why:
The pose captures Spidey perfectly and it was my first statue

Paquet's Swamp Thing (from the 90's) - the level of detail is just incredible. The intricacies of the individual roses and stems must have made for a lot of damage during production.

Dene Mason's original Magdelena FS produced by Moore - One of the most beautiful sculpt jobs of a comic female ever produced. Also one of the largest bases bases.

Arahom's Bi-Beast - A great take on an underappreciated character. I love the way he did not give in to a cartoony interpretation and at 18" the final result is a very fierce looking rendition.

I have to agree that Adam Hughes has some Incredible statues. His Emma Frost and Blackcat are fantastic. I especially love the looks of his upcoming X-Men Rogue Statue for Sideshow.
There is also something to be said for the DiamondSelect statues of Psylocke and the Invisible Woman though, are two of my favorites. I have also been recently drawn to the the DCDirect PVC statues like the Catwoman that was just released last month. Also the Ghost in the Shell PVC statues are amazing, to think they are made with PVC Plastic.

Frazetta's Snow Giants by Tony Cipriano. A perfect sculpt of a perfect painting that I have always loved.
